What Is Weber Human Services RSVP?
This is an AmeriCorps Seniors Program serving Weber, Morgan, Box Elder and Cache Counties, a volunteer program for individuals age 55 and older. It offers a full range of volunteer opportunities with numerous local organizations. With RSVP, individuals can choose how and where to serve, the amount of time they want to give, and whether they want to draw on their current skills or develop new ones. RSVP will link volunteers to the opportunity that’s right for them.

What Is Weber Human Services Senior Companion Program?
This is an AmeriCorps Seniors Program serving Weber, Morgan, and Davis Counties, a volunteer program for seniors age 55 and older to provide friendly visits, encouragement, companionship and assistance to other seniors to help them maintain their independence, as well as help provide respite for caregivers. Volunteers receive a $3/hour stipend, mileage reimbursement, supplemental accident insurance and training.

What Is Weber Human Services Foster Grandparents Program?
This is an AmeriCorps Seniors Program serving Weber, Morgan, Davis, Box Elder and Cache Counties, a volunteer program for individuals age 55 and older. Foster Grandparents are role models, mentors and friends. They serve in area schools, preschools, and after school programs helping children learn to read, providing one-on-one tutoring and guiding children at a critical time in their lives. Foster Grandparents receive a $3/hour stipend, mileage reimbursement, supplemental accident insurance, a free meal and training.
